Nike has hundreds of shoes on sale right now. Over fifty of them have near universal popularity. Not all of them would qualify to be classified as Nike trainers though. Even if you overlook the practical difference between sneakers or casual shoes and trainers, there are some obvious attributes that would warrant your attention and you will have to differentiate the two collections. Here is a list of the best Nike trainers of 2018.

  • Nike Revolution 3 with its mesh panelling and chunky sole, reinforced heel patch and flex grooves continues to be a bestseller. Its narrow fitting may be a concern for some runners.
  • Nike Zoom Fly with its carbon infused plate, reinforced heel, lunation cushioning and fly mesh upper is a great pair for anyone training for a marathon. It has a wider toe box that may not appeal to all.
  • Nike Air Zoom Vomero 12 has a comfort fit collar, durable traction, plush midsole sock liner and lunar core technology. The shape of the toe box is the only demerit.
  • Nike Flyknit Racer is a unisex pair with flywire, one piece knit upper and racing specific diamond pattern. The midfoot area is a little too compact. Those who have wider feet may not find it to be the ideal of Nike trainers.
  • Nike Lunarstelos is no longer in production, but you would still come across a few online. The thick midsole, ventilation, traction, sleek design and its flexibility make the pair suitable, especially for beginners but the midfoot is narrower than other Nike trainers.
  • Nike Free RN Flyknit has stretch sliding, supported toe, free sole, single seam stitching and rounded heel. The only demerit of this model is the size. It is not precisely the size it is sold as.
  • Nike Air Zoom Winflo 4 offers reliable support and flexibility, the cushion is appropriate for runners, the ventilation is superb, and comfort is assured even after several hours of wearing it. This set of Nike trainers can help with overpronation. Those looking for a wider toe may find it unsuitable.
  • Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 34 has foam cushioning, rubber stripped sole, firm heel cup and fly wire tech. These Nike trainers may be a little larger for some.
  • Nike Downshifter 7 offers great arch support, ventilation and traction. The midsole saddle and the outsole are desirably durable.
  • Nike Flex RN is lightweight, the mesh upper is breathable, the foam midsole has dual density and there is rubber traction.
